Makassar, August 10, 2026 — PT Bio Inti Agrindo (PT BIA) and Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) have strengthened their collaboration through the signing of a cooperation agreement on Monday, August 10, 2026. The partnership covers a range of strategic areas, including education, research and community engagement, human resource development, the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, governance, innovation development, and other areas mutually agreed upon by both parties.

The collaboration between the business sector and higher education institution represents a strategic step toward integrating the resources, knowledge, and expertise of both institutions. The partnership is expected to support the implementation of various collaborative programs, including the strengthening of PT Bio Inti Agrindo’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

One of the areas expected to be further developed through this collaboration is the improvement of healthcare services for employees and communities surrounding the company’s operational areas. Collaboration with a higher education institution is expected to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of these programs through academic expertise, research, and approaches based on community needs.

Kong Byoung Sun, President Director of PT Bio Inti Agrindo, stated that the collaboration with Hasanuddin University is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and sustainability of its CSR programs.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., Rector of Hasanuddin University, welcomed the establishment of the partnership. He emphasized that collaboration between higher education institutions and the business sector plays an important role in developing programs that create positive impacts for the community.

The signing ceremony was followed by a group photo session and a gathering between representatives of PT Bio Inti Agrindo and Hasanuddin University.

Through this partnership, both parties are committed to developing and implementing various collaborative programs sustainably in accordance with the agreed areas of cooperation. The collaboration is expected to strengthen synergy between the business sector and the academic community while contributing positively to human resource development, innovation, and community well-being.
