In a concerted effort to cultivate sustainable practices in the palm oil industry, a seminar and workshop focusing on implement Child Rights and Business Principle (CRBP) held in Jayapura, Swiss bell hotel 5-6 June 2024 Hosted by GAPKI, BPDPKS and PAACLA who attended by the GAPKI Papua Member, UNICEF, NGOs, local government and related stakeholders.

Workshops during the event delve into practical solutions and best practices for integrating child-friendly initiatives into the operational framework of palm oil plantations. These workshops offer a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, share success stories, and collaborate on implementing tangible measures to create safer and more nurturing environments for children living in and around palm oil estates.

PT Bio Inti Agrindo (PT BIA) though Mrs Widia as HRD Manager sharing the program of PT BIA’s Gender Committee in handling violence against women and children in the workplace Merauke when sharing session.

Mr. Tulus Sianipar as chairman of GAPKI Papua opened the activity with the hope that by protecting the rights of children and women in the workplace palm plantation, Indonesia can create a golden Papuan generation in 2045.
