The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) develops and implements global standards on sustainable palm oil for the seven sectors of the palm oil industry from producers and processors to investors and NGOs. An RSPO certification provides assurance that the certified member has committed to and complied with its extensive sustainability requirements.
PT. BIA has been an RSPO member since 2018 and became the first RSPO-certified company in Papua in September 2021. Since then, all of our mills and plasma plantations have been RSPO certified, meaning that we have fulfilled all the necessary environmental and social criteria set by the RSPO.
