POSCO Group is committed to respecting the human rights of all of our stakeholders,

Human rights are the foundation of dignity, equality, and justice for all individuals. A company’s commitment to human rights reflects its responsibility to respect and protect the fundamental freedoms of employees, communities, and stakeholders. This includes ensuring fair treatment, preventing discrimination, safeguarding occupational safety, and promoting inclusivity across all operations. By embedding human rights principles into daily practices, organizations contribute to sustainable development and strengthen trust with society.

Our commitment to respecting human rights is informed by POSCO Group's Human Rights Policy*, which defines our basic principles and action plans. Hence, systems are in place to implement and monitor our human rights practices in compliance with international standards, e.g., the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the Core Conventions of the International Labor Organization, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the UN Declaration on the Rights oflndigenous Peoples, the UN Declaration on Human Rights Defenders, and other international norms specifying the rights of migrant workers, women, and people with disabilities.

At the corporate level, human rights policies serve as a guiding framework to identify, prevent, and address potential risks. They emphasize transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement through regular assessments, training, and open communication channels. A strong human rights commitment not only protects individuals but also enhances business resilience, fosters positive community relations, and aligns with international standards such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
