Corporate Performance Rating Assessment in Environmental Management (PROPER) is a public disclosure program of the Indonesian Government that seeks to improve corporate environmental governance through transparency and democratization. Under PROPER, companies are assessed for their implementation of good governance principles in their environmental management. These principles include transparency, equity, accountability, and community engagement.
The 4 assessment indicators are environmental impact and environmental management reports (RKL/RPL and UKL/UPL), hazardous waste management, air pollution control, and water pollution control. PT BIA was awarded PROPER blue.
