SOLIDARITY ACTION FOR HUMANITY - BLOOD DONOR AT MERAUKE, PAPUA

PT BIA Employees Donating Blood at Site Facilities
Wednesday, March 24 2021, PT. Bio Inti Agrindo again held a social care action through a blood donation activity in the company's operational area in Merauke, Papua. During the Covid-19 Pandemic UTD PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) Merauke district informed about a lack of blood supply, not only in Merauke but the scarcity of blood stock was also experienced at the national level.
From this activity, 143 blood bags were collected. It is planned that in 2021 there will be at least 3 donor activities. This caring action has even become the company's routine agenda as evidence of a positive contribution to fellow human beings and this is in line with the principles of Corporate Citizenship that the company adheres to.
This activity is preceded by filling out a medical history check, blood pressure check, hemoglobin check by officers and blood sampling. Of course the activities are carried out with the application of a strict health protocol.
