The provision of medical equipment from POSCO International to the clinics was carried out on Thursday, June 24, 2021.  The event was attended by the President Director of PT Bio Inti Agrindo (BIA) Mr. Kong Byoung Sun, Head of the Health Office Mr. Dr. Nevile Muskita, Head of BPJS Health Kab. Merauke Mr. Ahmad zainudin and his team, Medical personnel team at the Clinic.

The event began with singing the Indonesia Raya song, then remarks from the President Director of PT BIA, remarks from Dr. Wawang Tirtana, remarks from the Head of the Health Office, then the handover of medical devices and closed with a group photo. This activity is carried out quite briefly and of course by complying with strict health protocols.

The donation of medical equipment aims to improve health services for the community around the plantations in the Ulilin district. The tools donated include ultrasound equipment, dental chair sets, ECG, Obgyn beds and several air purifiers, a total donation of 1 billion rupiah was symbolically received by Dr. Wawang Tirtana as the head of the clinic.

In his speech, Dr. Wawang Tirtana added that since 2016 Posco International has routinely carried out medical service activities with the help of dozens of specialists, medicines and adequate equipment. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic as of 2020 medical service activities have been replaced with donations of medical devices. Not to forget, Dr. wawang tirtana expressed his gratitude to Posco International for the donation of medical equipment which is very helpful and useful for the services of the entire community here.
