PT BIA enacted its plasma scheme in August 20 2021 where it allocated 6,867 ha of land for plasma development. Apart from the allocation of land for the plasma scheme, the Company also provides assistance and guidance for its associated plasma smallholders in the form of plantation development and maintenance. These plasma plantations are maintained by both our associated smallholders and our fully trained staff who also provide training. Our plasma plantation team consists of foremen, harvesters/pickers, and caretakers. With the plasma plantations being an important source of FFB for our operations, it forms an integral part of our supply base.

We are proud to say that PT BIA’s plasma plantations have been certified by both the RSPO and ISPO and with the plasma plantations being a source of FFB for our operations, they form an integral part of the supply chain.
